confessions of a non-geek
Okay, I admit it: I am not a computer geek. This is a very, very good thing for a web designer not to be.
You see, in my experience, most web designers are geeks. They can build very complex sites that impress the heck out of fellow geeks.
What most of them can’t do is design a site that works for customers. They do not understand how to market a business or a website. They don’t really care, as long as they get to use complicated acronyms (ABIOS? BIX? BSAM? CIDMID?) and impress their geek friends.
But most people are like you and me: they just want to complete tasks (like making reservations, getting directions, purchasing a product) online, and they'd like to get back to their jobs or families as quickly as possible.
My goal is to create simple, easy to use sites that are pleasant to look at, and drive customers to your business. I am in the business of helping you make money.
